2022 GMC Sierra VS 2022 GMC Sierra Limited : Which one is right for you?

GMC is offering two distinct full-size pickup lines under the Sierra name for 2022. The Sierra is a new model that was extensively reworked while the Sierra Limited is last year’s Sierra that is continuing unchanged.

The GMC Sierra

The 2022 GMC Sierra is a new design for 2022 which features cosmetic changes to the outside, especially in the front, where the grille and the headlamps are totally new. The biggest change however is inside, since the whole interior has been modernised. Most of the buttons that were found on the center console in the previous model have been integrated into the infotainment system, which now benefits from a much larger screen that combines to a digital instrument cluster.

Two new trim levels have been added at the top of the lineup for the 2022 Sierra: The Denali Ultimate and the AT4X. The Denali Ultimate is the most luxurious GMC pickup ever created and this is apparent due to its exclusive 22-inch wheels and Vader chrome accents, as well as the full-grain leather umber interior highlighted with open-pore wood appliqués. The AT4X takes the regular AT4 and it adds a large number of features to create a luxury off-roader that is new for the Sierra.

The GMC Sierra Limited

The 2022 GMC Sierra Limited continues unchanged from the model that enjoyed great success last year. This model is intended to bring all of the characteristics and qualities of the Sierra to buyers that are looking for a more affordable truck. This means that the Sierra Limited is not just a budget model intended to advertise a low starting price.

Indeed, the Sierra Limited is offered in 6 trim levels and 4 body and cab configurations, which are topped by the Denali, offered with the Multispace cab with either the standard bed or the short bed. In addition to being available in almost as many trims as the new Sierra, the Limited is also offered with all of the same engines, ranging from the turbocharged four-cylinder up to the 6.2L V8.
