Chevrolet is gearing up to take the automotive market by storm with the all-new 2024 Trax. Exceeding expectations, this reimagined entry SUV has effectively blurred the lines between the practicality of a compact car and the undeniable utility of an SUV.
The 2024 Trax is a perfect example of Chevrolet's knack for innovation, combining a larger and roomier design with high-tech features and comprehensive safety systems.
Scott Bell, Chevrolet's Vice President, summed it up best: “The all-new Trax has everything you need and nothing you don’t. More space. More features. More style." Indeed, this entry-level vehicle is set to surprise customers with its high-value proposition, playing a critical role as the gateway into the Chevrolet brand.
The Trax boasts five distinct trim levels—LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and ACTIV. Each offers unique design and content choices, alongside enhanced standard features and cutting-edge technologies. This includes the Chevy Safety Assist package with six advanced safety and driver awareness technologies, larger infotainment screens with options of an 8-inch-diagonal standard system or an 11-inch-diagonal screen on the LT, 2RS, and ACTIV trims.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities are also a part of the package, ensuring seamless smartphone integration. The 2024 Trax doesn’t skimp on style either; LED headlamps and wheel size options ranging from 17 to 19 inches make a statement, while the interior is kept tranquil with Active Noise Cancellation.
The Trax goes above and beyond with additional new features on most trims, including push-button start, automatic climate control, and wireless phone charging. Cruise control comes as standard equipment on all models, and Adaptive Cruise Control, a first for the Trax, is available on some trims.
Under the hood, the new Trax houses a 1.2L turbocharged inline-three engine that pumps out 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, this turbocharged Trax ensures excellent on-demand power for passing maneuvers and on-ramp acceleration.
With a starting MSRP of $21,699, the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Trax goes on sale this spring. This reimagined entry SUV, larger and more feature-packed than ever before, delivers an enticing blend of compact car practicality and SUV utility. With the new Trax, Chevrolet is undoubtedly upping the ante in the automotive industry.
