High Country: the ultimate in Chevrolet
November 18 2022,
Pickups have always been great work tools. In recent years, they have also become true luxury vehicles. In fact, the major brands that offer them compete to offer THE model that will provide the most luxury and refinement on the market.
Everyone has an opinion on which one is the most successful. At Chevrolet, we have a little idea about that, because we have the pre-owned opportunity to see up close what the High Country version of the Silverado pickup offers.
And, frankly, it's hard to beat it. Here's what makes this version so special.
Powertrain choices
What's better than having a little choice? That's what you get with the High Country version of the Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle comes standard with a 5.3-liter engine, the most fuel-efficient V8 in its class. If its 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque are to your liking, you're in for a treat. If you want more, you can opt for the 6.2-liter V8, a block that offers 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
Or you can go with a separate option, the 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder that runs on diesel. With 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, it's no match for the others.
It's up to you.
Multimedia system
When you get your hands on a vehicle today, it's imperative to be able to enjoy a complete multimedia system. With the Silverado High Country, that's not a concern, as you get everything you want with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wireless connection) apps, wireless charging for cellular devices, and a seven-speaker Bose premium audio system that will blow you away. It all comes together on a 13.4-inch screen on the center console; the unit is dominant and feels rich. In front of the driver is another screen for driving information. This one is 12.3 inches.
And let's not forget the impressive camera system that facilitates towing operations. Be sure to ask one of our representatives about this one; the technology is amazing.
Luxury
In addition to the LTZ version's heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel and dual-zone climate control, the High Country version comes with upgraded leather and rich stitching, open-port wood trim on the dashboard, and a power sliding window in the rear of the cabin. There's also the option of a sunroof and 22-inch wheels for a striking look.
And through all these details, one thing remains striking; the experience on board and behind the wheel. You really have to get behind the wheel of a High Country version to realize how much you're literally driving a luxury pickup with this model.
Impressive in every way.
