The new Silverado HD ZR2 will come exclusively in 2500 trim with a choice of powertrains. The 2500 Crew Cab configuration is capable of carrying a maximum payload of 3,397 pounds (gas engine), while the maximum trailering rating is an impressive 18,500 pounds (when equipped with the available Duramax Turbo-Diesel). This level of capability means the truck is just as comfortable towing boats, campers, or other adventure gear as it is navigating muddy off-road trails.
